Trading 212 is deploying an AI compliance platform from London-based Cardamon across markets, products and jurisdictions, FinanceFeeds reported on 4 November. Cardamon says its agents monitor rule changes, map them to a client’s business and create tasks in existing systems, including Slack and Jira.
The supplier says its tools use the client’s methodology and can recommend actions or update policies and controls when instructed. Trading 212 reports less time spent on selected monitoring and mapping work in the first weeks. Neither company gives a quantified saving, a complete list of covered legal entities or a measured error rate.
The announcement does not describe approval steps, audit-trail design, source coverage, data residency or model-training policies. The reported early efficiency benefit therefore does not establish improved regulatory outcomes or autonomous authority to change controls. Responsibility for interpretation and compliant operations stays with the regulated firm.
