AvaTrade announced on 9 October that it has agreed to acquire the majority of FXCM Group's business and brand. The announcement does not say the deal has closed or identify every operation included. FXCM UK's separately announced client transfer to Trade Nation follows its own timetable.

Trade Nation's updated FXCM UK guidance sets a 5 November opt-out deadline and a planned account transition from 20 to 22 November.
