PrimeXBT introduced its PXTrader 2.0 MCP connection in an official article dated 2 November. It supports demo and live accounts for CFDs and crypto perpetual futures. Customers sign in, select one account and grant read-only or read-and-trade access, without copying an API key. They can revoke access.
Assistants can inspect balances, positions, history, prices and account-specific costs, and prepare market, limit or stop orders with take-profit and stop-loss settings. Each proposed order shows estimated price, position value, fees, margin, leverage and liquidation price. It expires after about a minute unless repriced, and nothing is sent before the customer confirms. Final execution prices can differ from estimates.
PrimeXBT says each confirmation works once and the connector cannot transfer or withdraw money. It sends requested actions to the broker, while chat privacy follows the assistant provider’s settings. The company cautions that AI can make errors and some assistants may refuse an order. Its separate Trading API is intended for customer-built bots and dashboards, with two-factor authentication and optional IP controls, rather than making the MCP an unattended trading service. Product access depends on residence and contracting entity, and restricted jurisdictions are excluded.
