FX News Group reported on 3 November that Dubai startup CFD broker Epic Markets hired Zuzana Hashemi as head of legal and compliance. She previously headed compliance at Rostro’s UAE unit and served as CEO of GS Securities. Earlier roles included BP Prime, BITmarkets, Gulf Brokers DMCC and Goldenburg Group.
Epic Markets was founded by Kevin Kimmel and Bryan Seegers, former Citadel Securities eFX executives. The report says it has $10 million in pre-seed funding from London investor Karatage and plans a multi-asset retail presence in the US and UAE. Formal launch was described as later in 2026 or early 2027; neither the hire nor the funding establishes current client onboarding or licence status.
