Aries announced mobile access to ForecastEx event contracts on 30 October for eligible US clients. The release was published at 18:18 UTC, or 31 October in Beijing. Contracts cover elections, economic data and financial markets, excluding sports, awards and entertainment. ForecastEx, an Interactive Brokers affiliate, lists and clears them.
Customers apply through Aries Futures LLC, a CFTC-registered introducing broker and NFA member with ID 0573286, while Advantage Futures LLC carries the accounts. These accounts are separate from securities accounts through RAM Financial LLC. Event contracts have neither SIPC protection nor FDIC insurance, and registration is not regulatory endorsement.
Each contract asks a yes-or-no question. Exchange prices reflect trading and need not equal the actual probability of the outcome. Clients can lose the full amount paid plus fees; thin liquidity may prevent exit, and the contract’s resolution source and deadline govern settlement. CEO Reda Falih described regulated exchange access as the reason for the route.
Aries plans to extend the contracts to its Infinite workspace, finance.dev API and MCP server. Those extensions are plans, with any connected orders subject to supported functionality, account permissions and customer authorisation. The company warns that AI outputs and generated tools may be wrong; authorisation does not remove trading-error or loss risk.
